This year’s short film competition received an outstanding 700 submissions from over 50 different countries! This program presents a wide selection of short firms submitted by regional, national and international filmmakers.
The judging was held over two days and after much thought the final selection is in. Two films from the final selection are being featured as their Canadian Premieres, Moments from the UK and The Working Dead from Spain. Screening for the short films will be held at Uptown Theatre on October, 17th at 6:30pm. Film tickets are $10.
Don’t miss the Short Film Awards Ceremony! Awards will be announced at the Filmmakers’ Party across the street at the Roxy Side Room, 50 Dunlop Street West, beginning at 9pm. Admission to the party is free.
Fan’s will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite short film. Make sure your voice is heard!
